The architects Fuensanta Nieto and Enrique Sobejano designed this building inaugurated in 2005. It is a work that comes to bet by the tourist Mérida and of services that goes defining to the city and that in this case, it does with this Palace solved in two great volumes of concrete joined by a large terrace.

Inside, bright and open, zinc, glass and wood predominate. The sculptor Esther Pizarro completes the physiognomy of the building with an exterior relief based on the topography of the city.

It is located on the left bank of the Guadiana, at the exit of the Lusitania Bridge.
