Founded in 1588, it has been the last convent that has maintained the function for which it was created. "The enclosed nuns" of this cloistered convent were moved at the end of 2009 to a convent in the province of Seville. They ended with numerous traditions of the city: the sweets of "the nuns", their voices singing at the passage of the processions and, fundamentally, the reception to the mayor of the city, every December 8, to renew the vote that since 1620 the corporation emeritense he realizes to dfender that "the Virgin was conceived without original sin".

While the destiny of this great building is dedicated, we can contemplate the two Renaissance portals of Gothic tradition decorated, later, with Baroque motifs.
